    Eva had little Nick after his dad Mr. Nokorada went to serve in WWI in Yugoslavia and never came back. She married Pete Radakovich after that series of events.

    • DEATH: Eva Radakovich Obituary:
      Funeral services for Eva Radakovich, 81, of Pinedale were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. Lukas Kotzakis officiating. Graveside services and burial were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pinedale City Cemetery in Pinedale.
      Pallbearers were grandsons Eddie, Dan, Brian and Brad Radakovich, and Duane and Mike Schwab.
      Mrs. Radakovich died at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where she had been a patient since Feb. 18. She had been in ill health the past six months.
      She was born Jan. 26, 1894 in Yugoslavia. She was married to Pete Radakovich in Pueblo, Colo. in 1914.
      A long-time Pinedale resident, Mrs. Radakovich formerly had lived in Boulder, Wyo. and Superior. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Rock Springs.
      She is survived by three sons, Steve and Roy, both of Rock Springs, and Mike of Carson City, Nev.; five daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Ruby) Pople of San Diege, Calif., Mrs. Wayne (Bessie) Schwab of Pinedale, Mildred Poljanec of Evanston, Mrs. Don (Mary) Sherman of Pinedale and Mrs. Peter (Annie) Olsen of Big Piney; 36 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter, who died in 1970, and two sons, Nick who died in 1947 and George who died in 1970.

      DEATH: We would like to thank our many friends for cards, letters, and the many acts of kindness during our recent loss.

      BIOGRAPHY: Eva lived on a farm in what was then Hugary otherwise known as Croatia, Yugoslavia. She got on a ship called the Kaiser Willhelm der Grosse departing from Bremen. She said she was eighteen at that time and had been working on the farm. She was educated to read and write. She arrived at Ellis Island, New York harbor on 26 March, 1914. She had $25.00 in her pocket and was headed to Pueblo, Colorado to stay with her sister Sophie and Elija Radakovich at 208 East Mesa Avenue. The manifest describe her as four foot eight inches with fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. Her first husband went back to the war in Yugoslavia possibly and she had Nick. She and Pete Radakovich than started a family in Pueblo and their Granddaughter Eva Alley went to the Serbian Orthodox Church and saw where the baby was recorded in the records of the church. They moved to Superior, Wyoming outside of Rock Springs and raised this large family. In their later years they moved to a ranch in Boulder, Wyoming. Eva had a favorite cow named Rosie that she swears cried when they left the ranch. She was a softie. They moved to Pinedale their last years on earth and lived near their children and grandchildren. Eva Alley remembers combing her long hair and feeling so loved by her.

      MARRIAGE: Ann Bogden told Eva Alley on 3 June 1981 that her Uncle had a saloon in Pueblo, sent for Dorthy then she sent for Eva. Eva married Nokarada and was carrying Nick. Nokorada went to war in Croatia and was possibly drowned.
